Why gamers need their own page
The usual link-in-bio services are built for everyone: for hairdressers, podcasts and online shops as much as for you. What you get is a list of buttons that knows nothing about you. It looks the same at three in the morning as it does in the middle of your stream.
For someone who plays and streams, that is the whole opportunity thrown away. The most interesting thing about you is not that your Twitch channel exists — it is that you are live right now. Not that you use Discord, but that you are reachable this minute.
ZYVR is built around that idea. Your profile is not a business card, it is a state.
What sits on your profile
- Live Discord presence — online, idle, do not disturb, offline, with your own status text. A bot mirrors it automatically; you maintain nothing.
- Twitch live status — when your stream starts, the title, game and viewer count appear. When it ends, the notice disappears on its own.
- Game activity with artwork and elapsed time — “Playing · Valorant, 42 minutes in”. Off by default, visible only with your explicit consent.
- Gaming platforms — Steam, Epic Games, Battle.net, GOG, itch.io, FACEIT, Tracker.gg, Roblox, Rockstar Games and Cfx.re as links; PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Riot, Ubisoft and EA as copyable identifiers.

- What is a link in bio?
- Instagram, TikTok and Twitch allow exactly one address in your bio. A link-in-bio page holds everything else behind it: Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Steam, your merch. You share one address and change what sits behind it without ever changing the address.
- What does ZYVR do differently from Linktree?
- Linktree is a list of links built for every industry at once. A ZYVR profile also shows your current state: whether you are online, whether you are streaming and — if you enable it — what you are playing, with elapsed time. It also handles Steam, Epic Games and Battle.net, plus identifiers for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Riot that general providers have no concept of.
- How does it differ from guns.lol and similar profile sites?
- Those are the closer relative and do customisation very well. What differs here are the real live signals — Discord presence and Twitch status arriving on their own rather than being typed in — a one-time payment instead of a credit or subscription model, and a German operator with an imprint, a privacy policy and a statutory right of withdrawal.
- Does it cost anything?
- A profile is free, permanently, with no limit on the number of links. Premium unlocks the cosmetics — glowing name, animated avatar, music on your profile — and is paid once. No subscription, no monthly charge, nothing to cancel.
- How does the Discord status get onto my profile?
- Through a dedicated Discord bot. You join the ZYVR Discord, and your profile then mirrors automatically whether you are online, idle, do not disturb or offline, along with your own status text. There is nothing to maintain.
- Is what I play shown publicly?
- Only if you explicitly switch it on. Game activity is off by default and can be turned off again at any time. What someone plays and when is a usage profile — nobody publishes that without being asked.
- Where does my data live?
- On a self-managed server in Germany. No data is sold, visitor counts are recorded pseudonymously and deleted after 31 days. The full details are in the privacy policy.
